Message From Our CEO

The Keene Housing Authority is proud to be a part of this wonderful community and Monadnock region that cares deeply about its residents. The KHA is a member of an extensive regional network of service providers, and prides itself on making sure that there is an atmosphere of collaboration and cooperation to avoid duplication of services and to provide an efficient and excellent array of options to assist low to moderate income families, seniors, and persons with disabilities.

The KHA is working constantly to make sure that all the people we serve have an affordable roof over their head, have full knowledge of the assistance available to help educate and feed their children, and also to provide stable housing costs and access to services for seniors and persons with disabilities to remain independent. We also have a goal to help individuals and families to find training, skill enhancement and education to allow them to move towards and achieve their full potential as human beings and members of our society.

Our trained, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff have made it their mission to help not only those who are our residents and program participants, but also to assist those who must be on waiting lists to obtain knowledge about other resources and agencies in our area.

It is our goal to at some point run out of customers for our services and housing, but in the meantime, to serve those in our care as well and completely as possible.
